New Program, "The Inner Loop: Falls Church Access" Now Airing on FCC-TV
(Falls Church, VA) Producer and FCCAC Board President, Robert Sherretta, has launched a new program on FCC-TV titled "The Inner Loop: Falls Church Access." The program aims to address the most pressing issues facing Falls Church residents. The first two episodes are now airing on FCC-TV on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM. FCC-TV can be viewed on RCN 2, COX 11, and VERIZON 35 or the YouTube channel Falls Church Public Access TV.

Episode One: The Hot Lanes
For its first episode, "The Inner Loop" address on of the hottest subjects in Falls Church, The Hot Lane Toll Program on I-66 between the beltway and Washington, D.C., during peak traffic hours. Virginia traffic engineers, suggested that the tolls would remain within a $2 to $5 range, for anyone driving alone toward the District but the sticker shock was evident on the very first days of the program as some travelers on the highway faced tolls as high as $47.

Many drivers, who can’t afford the high trolls, are forced to navigate through the Falls Church community, as they wind their way along local roads, seeking speedier shortcuts on their way to Washington, or Arlington as their destination. The effects on public safety, additional local traffic and perhaps increased requirements for police forces, and other City services will be immediate and growing.  We interview Greg Scott, the Founder of the leading opposition group, “66 Alliance”.

Episode Two: The Falls Church City Budget
For its second episode, "The Inner Loop" interviews Falls Church City Council Member, Letty Hardi, to examine the growing Expenditures, Debt Load, Taxes and Future Budget Projections for the City.
We chronicle a City struggling to meet the needs of its children’s education and other City services with shrinking revenues in some categories and a need for tax increases to make up the difference.  A small population of tax-payers, will be stressed, with the highest property taxes and debt load per capita, in the region.

In each episode of "The Inner Loop," we also highlight a Non-Profit Organization that is helping citizens of Falls Church. "The Inner Loop" also welcomes Citizen Commentary, both on and off the air. Contact Producer, Robert Sherretta at interinv@aol.com
