Eunice malath, SecretaryMy name is Eunice Malath and I am an individual who finds great joy and fulfillment working in the media sector. I am a registered nurse by training, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from Langston University and Master’s Degree in Nursing from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
The love for filming and producing came as a result of watching many negative reports about my home country, South Sudan. I wanted to change the narrative of the negative stories about my country and people, thus, l picked up a camera and started filming while learning basic video editing skills by watching youtube videos. Eventually in 2014, while residing in Nebraska, I joined the local community access television known as KPAO where I produced, edited and hosted a T.V. show called “The Eunice Malath Show.” The show was accessible in over 500,000 homes. In 2017, I moved to Virginia and decided to continue producing television programs, this is when the Kush Kids children program was created which airs on FCC-TV. I strongly believe that community access television stations such as FCC-TV are an integral part of a community and offer an important platform for regular citizens to share their ideas and build strong communities. |
